Top Cryptocurrencies Mixed; Bitcoin Holds Above $63,000 Level
Top cryptocurrencies were mixed on Friday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) edging up above the $63,000 level.The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell almost 0.3% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.3%, the S&P 500 added 0.5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.7%.Bitcoin gained 0.4% at $63,577, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 10.5% to $26.96 billion.Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 1% to $1,664.XRP (XRP-USD) fell 0.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) lost 0.1%, and Solana (SOL-USD) dipped 0.3%.
