Major digital assets were broadly higher Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) up above the $64,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 0.4% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 lost 1.7%, the S&P 500 fell 0.6%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average eased 0.1%.
Bitcoin gained 0.5% at $64,617, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 8.9% to $19.33 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 0.3% to $1,913.
XRP (XRP-USD) eased 0.1%, BNB (BNB-USD) decreased 0.3%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 1.8%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) increased 0.2%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 0.4%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.4% in the past 24 hours to $2.2 trillion, with trading volume dropping 7.4% to $47.75 billion.
