Hikvision's H1 Profit Jumps 40%, Revenue Rises 12%; Shares Up 5%
Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology's (SHE:002415) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half jumped 40% to 7.90 billion yuan from 5.66 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Saturday.The security camera maker's shares jumped 5% during Monday's morning trade.Earnings per share climbed 40% year on year to 0.862 yuan from 0.615 yuan.Operating revenue rose 12% to 46.8 billion yuan from 41.8 billion yuan in the previous year.The company plans to pay out a cash dividend of 5.50 yuan for every 10 shares.
