Far East Orchard's (SGX:O10) 239-bed purpose-built student accommodation development in Manchester, UK, has secured a Gateway 2 approval, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The approval will allow the real estate company to commence construction, with development targeted for completion in 2028.
The development will be carried out by Far East UK Student Accommodation Development Fund.
Shares of the company were down nearly 3% in Monday's trading.
