Far East Smarter Energy Eyes 2 Billion Yuan From Private Placement; Shares Down 5%
Far East Smarter Energy (SHA:600869) is looking to raise up to 2 billion yuan from the sale of 665.8 million shares to no more than 35 investors through a private placement, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.The smart energy solutions provider plans to use the proceeds for its fully synthetic optical fiber preforms project for artificial intelligence data centers and for working capital.Shares fell 5% during afternoon trading on Tuesday.
