Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said the updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Hustler gold deposit at its Kambalda gold and nickel project in Western Australia has increased 20% in gold and 21% in tonnes to 826,000 tonnes at 1.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for 36,200 ounces, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the updated MRE comprises an indicated resource of 171,000 tonnes at 1.3 g/t gold for 7,000 ounces and an inferred resource of 655,000 tonnes at 1.4 g/t gold for 29,200 ounces, with the opportunity to integrate Hustler with any second stage of open pit mining at Lady Herial.
The group gold mineral resource currently stands at 1.48 million tonnes at 1.7 g/t gold for 79,300 ounces, the filing added.
