GDH Guangnan Warns of Q1 Loss Amid Drop in Swine Prices, Intensified Competition

GDH Guangnan (HKG:1203) said it expects HK$8 million to HK$9 million in consolidated attributable loss for the first quarter of 2026, compared with a profit of HK$34.8 million a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.Shares of the food manufacturer fell nearly 3% in morning trade Monday.The firm said its financial results were affected by a drop in swine prices and intensified competition in the tin-plating business.

Voicecomm Technology Enters HK$94 Million Share Sale Agreement

Voicecomm Technology (HKG:2495) agreed to issue HK$94 million worth of shares to a Chinese investor identified as Yang Minghuan, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.Shares of the IT firm gained nearly 2% in late morning trade Monday.The firm agreed to sell 2 million shares representing 5.40% of its enlarged share capital at HK$46.3 apiece.Proceeds from the sale will primarily be used to enhance the company's technological capabilities.Meanwhile, the firm amended a share sale agreement with State Fortune Global Strategic LPF to reduce the number of shares to be issued to 4.1 million from 6.73 million previously.The long-stop date for the issue was also changed to May 8 from April 10 previously.

Clifford Modern Living (HKG:3686) said it made a HK$42.9 million investment in silver, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.Shares of the firm fell over 1% in morning trade Monday.The company placed an order for 70,600 ounces of allocated silver bullion which is due for completion on April 14.

Aneka Tambang Plans Nickel Exploration Activities in Indonesia

Aneka Tambang (Persero) (ASX:ATM) said it plans to conduct nickel exploration in North Konawe and Pomalaa in Southeast Sulawesi, as well as within the mining business license areas of the firm's unit, PT Sumberdaya Arindo (PT SDA), in Buli, North Maluku, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.The exploration program includes single-tube drilling, geological mapping, core sampling, core logging, drill hole measurement, geophysical surveys, drilling activities, sample preparation, and sample analysis.It conducted gold exploration activities in Pongkor in West Java via underground drilling, surface drilling, traverse survey, geological mapping, sampling, and geochemical analysis until March 31. Bauxite exploration activities were conducted in Tayan and Landak in West Kalimantan.
