Honey Badger Released an Updated PEA for the PC Silver Mine in the Northwest Territories
Honey Badger Silver (TUF.V) on Thursday said an updated preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for its PC silver mine project in the Northwest Territories, showing the site can support a CA$667 million mine producing 10.7-million ounces for its first seven years.The study outlined an after-tax net present value of CA$1.8 billion at an 8% discount rate, with a 38% internal rate of return and a payback period of 2.4 years, based on spot prices, the company said Thursday.The study projected a 22-year mine life, based on a resource estimate of 11.63 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources grading 424 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent, and 8.47 million tonnes of inferred resources grading 492 g/t silver equivalent.Honey Badger said it aims to complete a feasibility study in the second quarter of 2027.The company's shares last traded Wednesday, closing up CA$0.07, or 11%, to CA$0.70Price: $0.70, Change: $+0.07, Percent Change: +11.11%
