Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Hold Opinion On Shares Of Alliant Energy Corporation

CFRA, an independent research provider, has providedwith the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:We raise our 12-month target by $2 to $75, valuing LNT at 21.5x our next-12-month EPS view. We trim our 2026 EPS view by $0.03 to $3.42 and trim 2027 by $0.02 to $3.68. Rate base growth stemmed from investments in generation, energy storage, and transmission assets, along with higher allowance for funds used during construction. LNT signed an additional ~370 MW electric service agreement in Iowa, bringing total contracted data center demand to ~3.4 GW (up from 3 GW previously), with the potential to add another 2-4 GW depending on ongoing negotiations. LNT now has five fully executed data center agreements, with three projects under active construction. In our opinion, the strategic focus on capacity-only electric service agreements, supported by flexible generation (simple cycle natural gas and battery storage), aligns capital deployment with revenue growth while preserving optionality for future energy needs. Alliant Energy Power, Gas Sales Nudge Higher in Q1, Customer Base Grows

Alliant Energy (LNT), parent of Interstate Power and Light, and Wisconsin Power and Light sold 8.29 terawatt-hours of power in Q1, up from 8.26 TWh in the same period of 2025, it said in its earnings report on Thursday.The company's retail consumer base grew year over year in the quarter to 1.01 million, up from 1.00 million a year earlier, it said.The company sold 55.3 million dekatherms of gas in the quarter to its residential, commercial and industrial customer base, up from 54.8 million in Q1, 2025.It added more gas customers in the quarter, taking the total to 434,433 up from 431,903 a year earlier.The company said it signed a 370 megawatt electric service agreement in Iowa taking contracted data center demand to about 3.4 gigawatts across five agreements.
