Swire Pacific's Attributable Profit Jumps Sevenfold in H1
Swire Pacific (HKG:0019, HKG:0087) posted a first-half attributable profit of HK$6.77 billion, up 731% from HK$815 million a year earlier.Basic earnings per share rose to HK$5.02 per 'A' share from HK$0.60 and to HK$1.00 per 'B' share from HK$0.12, according to a Thursday Hong Kong stock exchange filing.Revenue increased 8% to HK$49.5 billion from HK$45.8 billion in the prior year.The board declared a first interim dividend of HK$1.50 per 'A' share and HK$0.30 per 'B' share, payable on Oct. 9 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 11
