The carrier wants the framework to include mandatory targets and consistent policies to support the growth of the sustainable aviation fuel industry and help Hong Kong meet its climate goals, the report said.

The call reportedly came after a mainland Chinese official proposed that Greater Bay Area authorities offer incentives, including subsidies, to encourage wider adoption of sustainable fuels.
