Hong Kong and Beijing are set to revise their free trade pact for a third time, The Standard reported, citing Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau Ying-wah.

Under the proposed amendment to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), foreign companies manufacturing goods in Hong Kong would qualify for zero-tariff access to China, according to the report.

Their products would need to meet the criteria for "Made in Hong Kong" origin, Yau said on a radio program Monday.
