Australia-Listed Energy Majors Fall After Oil Price Retreats
Santos (ASX:STO) and Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) shares fell about 2%, while Viva Energy Group (ASX:VEA) was 1% lower in recent Tuesday trade, following a continued slide in the price of oil.Oil prices declined for a fourth straight session on Monday to hit their lowest closing level since Sept. 8 as flows through the Strait of Hormuz improved and the markets weighed prospects for a diplomatic resolution to the Middle East conflict, The Wall Street Journal reported.
