Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical Unit Gets Drug Regulator's Approval for Hypertension Tablets

Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical's (SHE:301263) wholly owned subsidiary Shandong Huabo Kaisheng Biotechnology received China's National Medical Products Administration's approval for Labetalol Hydrochloride tablets, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Tuesday.

The drug, available in 0.1-gram and 0.2-gram specifications, is primarily used to treat hypertension, including hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, the filing said.

Shares of Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical added more than 1% in recent trade.
