Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park to Acquire Three Logistics and Industrial Properties for 35.7 Billion Yen

Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park (TYO:3471) has agreed to acquire three properties for a combined planned acquisition price of 35.7 billion yen.Firstly, the REIT resolved to purchase L Kyokushisaka in Kumamoto for 2.2 billion yen effective Oct. 1, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.The other two assets, MFLP Ichinomiya in Aichi and MFIP Ebina & forest, will be acquired for 19 billion yen and 14.5 billion yen, respectively, effective Feb. 1 2027.In a related move, the REIT will transfer 50% of its total co-ownership in MFLP Yokohama Daikoku in two tranches- 30% and 20% interests for 7.14 billion yen and 4.76 billion yen, respectively.The transfers to Mitsui Fudosan Private REIT are scheduled for Jan. 29, 2027 and July 30, 2027, respectively.

Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park (TYO:3471) has secured two loans totalling 3.1 billion yen to repay its existing debts of a similar amount, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.The new loans comprise a 1 billion yen short-term loan from The Bank of Fukuoka and a 2.1 billion yen long-term green loan from the Development Bank of Japan.The proceeds will be used exclusively to repay a 1 billion yen loan from Nippon Life Insurance and another 2.1 billion yen from Development Bank of Japan, both due on Aug. 3.The new green loan, maturing in February 2034, aligns with the company's Sustainability Finance Framework and supports its commitment to ESG-conscious asset management.
