SSY Group (HKG:2005) said its Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical unit is negotiating an exclusive license for peritoneal dialysis treatment OPT101, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The firm signed a letter of intent with the drug's developer, Opterion Health, for a possible license covering China that would expire in 2038. The SSY Group unit will also receive priority over licenses covering Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Russia.A formal agreement is expected in the third quarter of 2026, SSY Group said.Shares of SSY gained over 1% in recent trade.

SSY Group (HKG:2005) said it entered exclusive negotiations with Hebei Longhai Pharmaceutical over four biosimilar drugs, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.Under the letter of intent, the firm may license biosimilar versions of ustekinumab, dupilumab, aflibercept, and evolocumab from Longhai Pharmaceutical, which will be responsible for completing research and technical know-how on the medicines.The company will be required to make a down payment and milestone payments to Longhai Pharmaceutical if the deal materializes.The exclusivity period for negotiations will last 90 days, the firm said.
