SSY Gets Production, Registration Nod for Two Drugs in China

SSY Group (HKG:2005) obtained production and registration approvals for Safinamide Mesylate Tablets and Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution from China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The approval came as the drugs passed the regulator's consistency evaluation.

Safinamide Mesylate Tablets are mainly used in adult patients with primary Parkinson's disease and symptom fluctuation, in combination with other drugs for Parkinson's.

The Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution is used to provide relief for airflow limitation symptoms in bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.

South Korean software company Innoax (KOSDAQ:296640) secured a contract from Samsung SDS (KRX:018260) to enhance the Samsung Life Insurance front-core system, according to a Monday filing with the Korean Exchange.The contract, valued at 3.48 billion won, is valid till Dec. 21, 2027.Shares of Innoax fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
