Electro Optic Systems Raises 2026 Base Business Revenue Outlook; Shares Gain 7%
Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) now expects full-year 2026 revenue for its base business of AU$280 million to AU$300 million, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.In June, the company guided for 2026 base business revenue of AU$240 million to AU$270 million, an earlier filing showed.The forecasts exclude the MARSS business, a Europe-based provider of AI-enabled command and control systems that Electro Optic Systems acquired earlier this year.The company said its unaudited revenue for the first half was about AU$169 million, a 284% increase from the same period a year earlier as ongoing conflicts and regional tensions supported demand for its defense products.Electro Optic Systems ended June with an order book of AU$846 million, the highest level in its history and up 84% from Dec. 31, 2025. The company expects underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to be positive for the first half.Its shares advanced 7% in recent Monday trade.
