Electro Optic Systems(ASX:EOS) secured new orders worth a total of about AU$38 million, including an about AU$23 million order for its Naval R400 remote weapon system (RWS) to be supplied to a new customer in the Middle East, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the Naval R400 order includes the RWS, cannon, training, and other supplies, with the systems expected to be delivered over the next seven years in line with the relevant ship delivery program.
EOS's MARSS command and control business also secured an around AU$15 million order from an existing Middle East customer for counter-drone defense, expected to be mostly delivered in 2026 to 2027, with formal novation of the contract to EOS expected within the year, subject to applicable processes and customer consents, it added.
