Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) said that its command and control (C2) business MARSS has been selected by BAE Systems as the C2 provider for its anti-threat system, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
MARSS's artificial intelligence-driven NiDAR platform will serve as the central nerve center, integrating sensors and effectors across BAE Systems' global counter-unmanned aerial systems (CUAS) architecture to accelerate the detection, classification, and neutralization of threats, per the filing.
MARSS will supply software licensing along with technical support to assist BAE Systems in its CUAS demonstrations and deployments, the filing added.
