Biomark Diagnostics Gets Canadian, European Patent Allowances for Early-Stage Lung Cancer Blood Test
Biomark Diagnostics (BUX.CN) received formal patent allowances from both the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office for its lung cancer early detection technology, it said in a statement on Tuesday."The clinical validation of BioMark's metabolomics platform is anchored in exceptionally robust data, having already shown immense promise across more than 15,000 blood samples collected throughout Quebec, France, and Germany," said Chief Executive Rashid Ahmed Bux. "This vast multi-jurisdictional clinical asset underscores the reliability, reproducibility, and potential of the platform across diverse population groups."The company said it continues to advance corresponding patent applications "actively under prosecution" in additional major markets, including the U.S., China, and Japan. Biomark is also preparing for the upcoming commercial launch later this year, it said.
