Silver Hammer Mining's (HAMR.CN) shares were approved for trading on the OTCQB Venture Market in the United States under the symbol HAMRF, it said Monday.
The company's shares have also received Depository Trust Company eligibility for electronic clearing and settlement through the DTC in the United States, said the company.
Silver Hammer Mining will maintain its primary listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol HAMR, it added.
"The uplisting to OTCQB and DTC eligibility are expected to reduce friction in trading and settlement, improve accessibility and increase our visibility in the U.S. capital markets," said Silver Hammer Chief Executive Officer Peter Ball.
The company's shares were last seen down CA$0.005, or 6.6%, at CA$0.07 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
