OUE Swings to Loss in H1

OUE (SGX:LJ3) posted an attributable loss of SG$114.6 million for the first half of 2026, reversing an attributable profit of SG$35.6 million a year earlier.Loss per share came in at SG$0.1526, compared with earnings per share of SG$0.0470 in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Revenue rose 5.3% year over year to SG$308.3 million from SG$292.8 million.The real estate and healthcare group declared an interim dividend of SG$0.01 per share for the period, to be paid on Sept. 30.

OUE (SGX:LJ3) is expecting to book an attributable loss to shareholders during the first half of the year, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The real estate and healthcare company has attributed this to estimated losses from Gemdale Properties and Investment Corp., and an impairment loss of up to SG$60 million.The company will release its financial findings on or before Aug. 14.

OUE-Tokyo Century JV to Acquire Crowne Plaza Changi Airport in SG$500 Million Deal

Real estate and healthcare firm OUE (SGX:LJ3) and finance services provider Tokyo Century (TYO:8439) established a joint venture to acquire the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport from OUE Real Estate Investment Trust (SGX:TS0U) for SG$500 million, Tokyo Century said in a Wednesday release.Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is a 575-room hotel managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts, situated at Singapore Changi Airport's Terminal 3. The property comprises a 332-room main building and a 243-room extension, with direct connectivity to all airport terminals.The deal reflects OUE's and Tokyo Century's confidence in Singapore's tourism and aviation sectors, as well as the long-term growth prospects of Changi Airport, which comprises the planned Terminal 5 expansion, according to the release.Shares of OUE fell nearly 2% in recent trade, while those of OUE Real Estate Investment Trust added over 1%. In Tokyo, shares of Tokyo Century edged up nearly 1%.

OUE's Unit Issues SG$150 Million Worth of Green Bonds

OUE's (SGX:LJ3) subsidiary, OUE Treasury, issued SG$150 million worth of 3.25% green bonds due 2033, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The bonds are part of the company's SG$3 billion multicurrency debt issuance program.Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. or OCBC (SGX:O39), was the sole global coordinator while DBS Bank, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. and OCBC were the joint lead managers and bookrunners.The bonds will be listed on or about May 19.
