Trident Resources Says All Seven Holes Were Drilled On Winter Ice Into BK3 Zone At Contact Lake Target Area, Northern Saskatchewan

Trident Resources' (ROCK.V) seven diamond drill holes from the 2026 winter drill program at the Contact Lake Gold project in northern Saskatchewan, were drilled on winter ice into the BK3 Zone at the Contact Lake target area and intersected high-grade gold mineralization, it said Wednesday.Eleven holes remain unreported with assays pending from the Preview Lake deposit area located about three kilometres from the Contact Lake target area."The strength and continuity of the mineralization we're seeing confirms our belief that the Contact Lake target area is highly prospective within the project area and within Trident's entire portfolio," said Trident chief executive Jon Weisblatt. "These results warrant much more drilling to test the extension at depth and along strike."Shares of the company closed up 8.3% to $4.20 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Trident Resources Mobilizes Crews, Equipment for Summer Drill Program at Contact Lake Gold Project

Trident Resources (ROCK.V) has mobilized geologic and drilling personnel and equipment to the Contact Lake gold project for the 2026 summer drill program, the company said Tuesday. The mobilization includes two drills, and over 20,000 meters will be drilled in about 35 drill holes between June and November.Drilling activities will be focused on expanding the known gold mineralization both along strike and at depth as the Contact Lake deposit remains open for expansion in all directions. The summer program will seek to grow the resource base along strike to the west and at depth in multiple prospective target areas."Our [over] 20,000-meter summer drill program represents the largest single exploration phase in many decades at Contact Lake and reflects our commitment to aggressively advancing and expanding the project," said Jon Wiesblatt, Chief Executive Officer of Trident.Assays are pending for seven holes from the winter program at the Contact Lake target area as well as 11 holes from the Preview SW deposit located 3 kilometers to the southeast. The winter program extended high-grade gold mineralization to the northeast at the BK3 zone.

Trident Resources Intersects Additional High-Grade Gold from Contact Lake Project

Trident Resources (ROCK.V) intersected additional high-grade gold from the Contact Lake gold project in Saskatchewan, the company said Wednesday.Highlights include 17.88 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.25 m, including 42.53 g/t gold over 4.50 m.The results further demonstrate the strong continuity of mineralization at the project, Trident said."The presence of multiple parallel mineralized shear zones, combined with consistent high-grade gold intercepts, supports our belief that Contact Lake and the surrounding area have the potential to evolve into a new gold camp in Canada," CEO Jon Wiesblatt said.Meanwhile, Trident will receive a C$150,000 rebate from Saskatchewan's Targeted Mineral Exploration Incentive as its 2025 exploration work met the requirements for the program. The company will use the funds to advance exploration on its La Ronge Gold Belt properties.Price: $4.57, Change: $-0.07, Percent Change: -1.51%

Trident Intersects Best Drill Results to Date at Contact Lake Project in Saskatchewan

Trident Resources (ROCK.V) intersected its best drill result to date at the Contact Lake gold project in Saskatchewan, the company said Wednesday.Trident drilled 15.11 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 51.83 meters in hole CL26036, representing" a rare, high-grade result in Canadian gold exploration," the company said. The company also reported high-grade gold values from a broad zone of variably sheared host rocks within and adjacent to the Bakos Shear Zone. Other results include 5.07 g/t gold over 21.50 meters."What makes these results particularly compelling is the fact that mineralization remains open in all directions, highlighting the significant growth potential we see across the system," Chief Executive Officer Jon Wiesblatt said."We are seeing high-grade gold associated with multiple, parallel shear zones in drilling which is exciting as the potential convergence of these zones at depth represents an untested high-priority drill target," Wiesblatt added. An additional 15 drill holes are pending from Contact Lake, targeting the high-grade BK3 zone. The company also plans to conduct drill programs in summer and fall.
