-- Trident Resources (ROCK.V) on Wednesday said received TSX Venture Exchange approval and closed its property option agreement with North-Sask. Ventures to acquire up to a 100% stake 19 mineral claims totaling 3,586 hectares in Sasktchewan's La Ronge Gold Belt.
The claims host numerous base and precious metal showings that have seen only limited exploration and are contiguous with Trident's current land holdings, the company said.
Trident's shares closed up $0.18 at $2.70 on TSXV on Wednesday.
