Trident Resources (ROCK.V) intersected additional high-grade gold from the Contact Lake gold project in Saskatchewan, the company said Wednesday.
Highlights include 17.88 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.25 m, including 42.53 g/t gold over 4.50 m.
The results further demonstrate the strong continuity of mineralization at the project, Trident said.
"The presence of multiple parallel mineralized shear zones, combined with consistent high-grade gold intercepts, supports our belief that Contact Lake and the surrounding area have the potential to evolve into a new gold camp in Canada," CEO Jon Wiesblatt said.
Meanwhile, Trident will receive a C$150,000 rebate from Saskatchewan's Targeted Mineral Exploration Incentive as its 2025 exploration work met the requirements for the program.
The company will use the funds to advance exploration on its La Ronge Gold Belt properties.
