Dana Gas PJSC (ADX:DANA) said Thursday that its profit and gross revenue for the first quarter grew year over year.Profit attributable to equity holders of the company for the three months ended March 31 was $74 million, compared with $43 million a year ago. EPS moved to $0.011 from $0.006.The Abu Dhabi-listed natural gas company's gross revenue was $145 million, compared with $91 million earlier.

The latest developments eased oil supply concerns and led to a decline in prices as Brent crude oil futures stood at nearly $97.82 per barrel at 3:06 pm UAE time, down 10.97% from the previous day.Back home and on the corporate front, shares of Dana Gas (ADX:DANA) closed 2.49% higher as it partnered with British advanced materials company Levidian to establish the Sharjah Graphene Park to boost the supply of high-quality graphene regionally.Elsewhere, Emirates Central Cooling Systems (DFM:EMPOWER), resumed trading on the Dubai bourse following a temporary suspension due to its board meeting. Dana Gas (ADX:DANA) is collaborating with UK-based advanced materials company Levidian to produce graphene in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.The partners plan to develop the Sharjah Graphene Park in phases, initially deploying Levidian's LOOP technology, which converts methane into graphene and hydrogen, to establish local production capability, the natural gas company said Wednesday. The project is expected to scale into a multi-unit production cluster following the initial phase.The first phase is estimated to cost between $2 million and $5 million, while early expansion could require $5 million to $50 million, with the potential to exceed $50 million as the project develops in line with market demand.
