Dana Gas Rating Reiterated as FAB Notes 'Resilient' Q2 Performance

By

FAB Securities reiterated its rating on Dana Gas (ADX:DANA) after it took note of the natural gas company's second-quarter earnings results.

"We maintain our BUY rating on Dana Gas with a target price of AED 1.15. Dana Gas delivered a resilient performance in 2Q26 despite temporary disruptions caused by regional conflict at the Khor Mor field, which constrained utilisation of the expanded KM250 processing facility. Despite the challenges, profitability remained healthy, supported by higher realized energy prices, increased production in Egypt and higher gas volume sales at Pearl Petroleum," analysts wrote in a Wednesday first look note.

Thanks to lower tax expenses, as well as higher revenue and investment and finance income, the company's net profit rose 10% year over year to $33 million, which missed FAB's estimate of $50 million. Revenue logged a 41.3% annual growth to $113 million, against the research firm's $116 million estimate.
