Vodafone (VOD) shares rose 13% after e& Group said it has agreed to to sell its entire stake in Vodafone to Vega, an acquisition vehicle wholly owned by the Niel family group, for $5.95 billion.On the losing side, stocks of Micron Technology (MU), Intel (INTC), and Marvell Technology (MRVL) declined as part of a wider drop in semiconductor stocks. Micron shares fell 1.6%, Intel stock was 2.4% lower, and Marvell shares were down 1.3%.
