Wall Financial (WFC.TO) said over the weekend that first quarter net earnings and revenue both declined.
The real estate company said net earnings attributable to shareholders for the quarter ended April 30, was $4.3 million or $0.13 per share compared with net income of $5.7 million or $0.18 per share in the same period last year.
Stabilized earnings from rental apartment operations edged down from the previous year while earnings from the company's hotels were stable year over year, the company said.
Total revenue also declined to $37.3 million, from $43.8 million over the same period.
Wall Financial shares closed up $0.20 to $18.70 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday.
