Major digital assets were mixed Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above $64,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 0.3% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq declined 0.4%, the S&P 500 gained 0.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%.
Bitcoin increased 0.3% to $64,863, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume rose 105.7% to $25.75 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 1.8% to $1,946.
XRP (XRP-USD) fell 0.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) rose 0.4%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 0.7%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) dropped 0.9%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) eased 3.6%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 5.149% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, down from 5.184% Friday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.397% from 4.424%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.3% in the past 24 hours to $2.21 trillion, with trading volume rising 78.4% to $66.75 billion.
