Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank (SHA:601825) issued bonds amounting to 4 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing over the weekend.
The lender's shares rose 1% during Monday's morning trade.
The bonds were issued in two tranches. The first tranche is worth 3 billion yuan and has a coupon rate of 1.55% and the second tranche amounted to 1 billion yuan and has an initial coupon rate of 1.60%, which is linked to the one-year loan prime rate minus 140 basis points.
Both tranches have a maturity of three years.
