Intrum, Brocc Finance to Acquire SEK4 Billion Nordic Loan Portfolio from Swedbank Unit

Intrum (INTRUM.ST) and Brocc Finance agreed to jointly acquire a 4 billion-krona non-performing consumer finance loan portfolio from Swedbank's (SWED-A.ST) Entercard.

The portfolio comprises 17,500 loans across Nordic markets, according to a Friday release. Intrum will become the servicer for the portfolio after completion of the transaction, which is expected in the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory approval.

The acquisition supports the credit management services company's strategy to expand its capital-light investments through long-term institutional partnerships.

Kasikornbank (SET:KBANK) issued $800 million of 6.278% tier 2 subordinated bonds due 2036 to overseas institutional investors, according to a Friday filing with the Thailand Exchange.The bonds were issued through its Hong Kong branch under its $4 billion euro medium-term bond program and carry a 10-year tenure.Moody's Investors has assigned the bonds a Ba1 credit rating.
