Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank's Q1 Profit, Revenue Rise 1%; Shares Down 3%
Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank's (SHA:601825) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter rose 0.7% to 3.59 billion yuan from 3.56 billion yuan in the previous year, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.Earnings per share were flat year on year at 0.37 yuan.Operating revenue climbed 1.2% to 6.64 billion yuan from 6.56 billion yuan in the previous year.The lender's shares dropped less than 3% during the afternoon trade.
