Richelieu Hardware (RCH.TO) said Thursday that it is investing more than CA$15 million to expand its Drummondville distribution centre from nearly 40,000 square feet, to 180,000 square feet.
The increased distribution capacity will allow the company to continue serving customers across Montreal's South Shore, the Quebec City region and its South Shore, Centre-du-Quebec and the Eastern Townships, a statement said.
The project was officially launched today, and the facilities are expected to be operational by next Spring.
Richelieu Hardware shares were last seen up CA$0.95, to CA$35.40 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
