NSJ Gold (NSJ.CN) closed the first tranche of the "flow-thru" financing and the hard dollar financing, raising about C$1.1 million and C$511,500, respectively, it said in a statement on Friday.
The first tranche of the flow-thru financing consisted of the issuance of 3.6-million shares at C$0.30 apiece, and the hard dollar financing consisted of the issuance of 1.7-million shares at C$0.30 per share.
Proceeds will be used for exploration and development activities on its Antimony 2.0 Property located in New Brunswick, Canada, and general working capital needs, it said.
Shares of the company closed up 23.3% to C$0.37 on Thursday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
