NeoTerrex Minerals (NTX.V) appointed Faycal Salek as chief financial officer and Dale Burstall, a director of the company, as corporate secretary, effective Thursday.
Salek succeeds Vatche Tchakmakian, who has retired from his position as CFO and corporate secretary, said the company on Thursday.
Salek has over 20 years of experience as a CFO and financial advisor to public and growth-stage companies and has operated an independent fractional CFO practice since 2012, advising public and private companies, including companies in the mineral exploration and mining sectors, added NeoTerrex.

His extensive experience working with Canadian public companies, particularly in financial reporting, securities regulation and corporate governance, will be a valuable addition to NeoTerrex as we accelerate the advancement of the Company's portfolio of mineral exploration projects," said Chief Executive Officer Mathieu Stephens.
The company's shares were last seen down CA$0.005 or 5%, to CA$0.095 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
