Shanghai Biren Technology (HKG:6082) is eyeing $1 billion from a potential share sale, Bloomberg reported citing people with knowledge of the matter.
The fabless semiconductor design company reportedly intends to use funds raised for the AI-related activities.
The share sale may be implemented after early October, when a 90-day lockup following a $900 million sale in July ends, the people said.
The details of the offering, and whether or not it will materialize, are yet to be finalized, according to the report.
