Biren Technology Raises Over HK$7 Billion from Share Placement

Fabless semiconductor design company Shanghai Biren Technology (HKG:6082) completed the placing of 153 million shares to raise HK$7.04 billion in net proceeds.The shares were placed to at least six investors at HK$46.20 apiece, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The shares represent roughly 11.3% of the company's Hong Kong-listed shares and 5.9% of its total shares in issue as enlarged by the placement.
