Ensign Energy Services (ESI.TO) has completed its acquisition of Citadel Drilling for $65 million following the satisfaction of all closing conditions, the company said Thursday.
The deal was funded using cash on hand and available credit facilities.
The acquisition expands oilfield services company Ensign's high-spec drilling fleet in the US Permian Basin oil and gas production area.

Dynacor Group (DNG.TO) after market close on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $0.03 per share, compared with $0.08 per share in the prior-year period, missing the FactSet consensus of $0.13 per share.Net income for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.1 million, down from $3.5 million in the same period last year.The company recorded Q2 sales of $144.4 million, up from $79.7 million in the corresponding period of 2025 and above the FactSet consensus of $134.4 million.Dynacor said it is tracking its 2026 guidance, which calls for sales of $530 million to $580 million, net income of $22 million to $26 million and production of 125,000 to 135,000 gold equivalent ounces. True North Commercial REIT (TNT-UN.TO) said Thursday after trade that second quarter adjusted funds from unit rose to C$0.49 from C$0.42, in the prior year period.Revenue fell 0.9% to C$27.9 million year over year, due to a reduction in the REIT's Ottawa market occupancy as a result of a "strategically executed" early lease termination, a statement said.True North said its core portfolio occupancy at the end of the second quarter was 96% with a weighted average lease term of 4.2 years.True North units closed up C$0.08, to C$8.64 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
