Brookfield Business' (BBUC.TO, BBUC) notice of intention to renew its normal course issuer bid for its Class A subordinate voting shares has been accepted by the Toronto Stock Exchange, the company said Friday.
As a part of the bid, the company is authorized to buy back up to 10.3-million shares, representing up to 5% of the issued and outstanding shares at the close of business on Aug. 7, 2026. There were 205.4-million shares issued and outstanding at the close of business on Aug. 7.
The company is authorized to buy back beginning Aug. 19, 2026, and will cancel on Aug. 18, 2027, or earlier, it said.
US-listed shares of the company were last seen up 1.3% at $29.62 in pre-market trading.
