Alvopetro Energy (ALV.V) said Thursday that, based on field estimates, August sales volumes reached 3,124 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), down slightly from the 3,137 boepd in July.
Sales averaged 2,989 boepd for Brazil. In Canada, oil sales averaged 135 barrels of oil per day (bopd), a statement added.
Alvopetro Energy shares were last seen down CA$0.20 at CA$10.66 on the TSX Venture Exchange.

ARC Resources (ARX.TO) after trade Wednesday said Shell (SHEL) completed its acquisition of the Western Canadian natural-gas producer in a cash-and-share deal valued at about C$22 billion, including assumed debt.The transaction was carried out via an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell, according to the statement.Per the agreement, ARC shareholders receive 0.40247 Shell shares plus C$8.20 in cash for each ARC share, the company said.Following the closing, ARC shares are expected to be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange two trading days after the transaction closes, the company added."ARC shareholders are advised that the Shell shares are listed and traded on the London Stock Exchange. The Shell shares are not, and will not, be listed on the TSX," the company said.
AutoCanada (ACQ.TO) after market close on Wednesday said it completed its acquisition of Doug's Place Southgate, a collision repair business based in Edmonton, Alberta.Doug's Place Southgate adds approximately 7,540 square feet of collision-repair capacity to AutoCanada's network.The acquisition builds upon AutoCanada's initial purchase of the first Doug's Place location (Strathcona) in October 2025.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.AutoCanada's shares closed up C$0.13 to C$22.36 on Toronto Stock Exchange.
Major Drilling Group International (MDI.TO) said Wednesday after trade its fiscal first-quarter earnings jumped 44% to C$0.18 per share from C$0.12 per share in the prior year period.Analysts polled by FactSet had expected C$0.17 per share.The company, which provides contract drilling services to mining companies, said quarterly revenue rose 19% to hit a record C$277.3 million, beating the C$263.6 million FactSet forecast.Each region contributed double-digit revenue growth that was mainly driven by deploying additional rigs, combined with an improved pricing environment, said chief executive Denis Larocque.Major Drilling shares closed up C$0.04 to C$16.47 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
