Update: Wallbox Closes $13.5 Million Equity Raising, Secures New Investment From Focus

(Updates share price in last paragraph.)Wallbox (WBX) said Thursday it has closed an equity raising of about 11.8 million euros ($13.5 million) and received a separate 4 million-euro investment from the firm Focus on Next Frontier.The equity raising included the previously announced 10.7 million euros in equity financing and 1.1 million euros from the capitalization of the original issue discount and paid-in-kind interest accrued under a bridge loan entered in April, Wallbox said.The 4 million euro investment from Focus makes that firm a new shareholder in Wallbox, the company said.Wallbox shares were more than 4% higher in Thursday trading.Price: $3.62, Change: $+0.15, Percent Change: +4.36%

Wallbox Secures $12.1 Million in Funds Through Canadian Clean Fuel Program; Shares Up Pre-Bell

Wallbox (WBX) said Thursday it received about 10.5 million euros ($12.1 million) in funds through Canada's clean fuel credit framework for 2025.The funds were generated through eligible electric vehicle charging activity across its AC chargers in Canada, the company said.Under Canada's clean fuel regulation, charging sessions that displace fossil fuels can generate credits linked to reducing transport-related emissions.In line with the requirements for the program, funds received will be reinvested in the region through incentives and initiatives designed to accelerate EV adoption, Wallbox said.Shares of Wallbox rose more than 12% in recent pre-bell activity Thursday.Price: $3.10, Change: $+0.36, Percent Change: +12.36%
