Hoya's Profit Surges 27% in Fiscal Year 2025
Hoya's (TYO:7741) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 27% to 253.1 billion yen for the fiscal year 2025 from 202.1 billion yen a year earlier.The optical product manufacturer's earnings per share increased to 743.82 yen from 581.26 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.Revenue climbed 9.4% to 947.7 billion yen for the year ended March 31 from over 866 billion yen in the prior year.In a separate disclosure, Hoya declared a final dividend of 170 yen per share.For the fiscal year 2026, the company did not provide specific forecasts.
