Malaysian shares ended in the green on Friday, extending gains of the previous two sessions. The index mirrored an upbeat regional trend on the week's close.The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, the main gauge of Malaysian stocks, gained 4.50 points to end 0.3% higher at 1,724.90.In corporate news, shares of ITMAX System (KLSE:ITMAX) gained over 2% on Friday's close after it secured a deal worth 120 million ringgit from Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur for the supply, installation and maintenance of a smart street lighting system.Greenyield's (KLSE:GREENYB) rubber production totaled 281,883.7 kilograms in June. ITMAX System Bags MYR120 Million Smart Street Lighting System Deal

ITMAX System (KLSE:ITMAX) secured a deal worth 120 million ringgit from Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur for the supply, installation and maintenance of a smart street lighting system, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.The deal has a term of six years, and the commencement date to be determined upon the issuance of a work order by the city council.The company said work will begin only after it fulfills conditions under the contract, including providing a 1 million ringgit performance bond and submitting the required insurance documents, it said.
