Oil India Signs Clean Energy Collaboration Framework with Canadian Non-Profit

Oil India (NSE:OIL, BOM:533106) signed a collaboration framework with Canadian non-profit energy research company Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) focused on clean energy cooperation, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.The agreement covers areas including CO2 capture, utilization and storage, geothermal energy and other clean energy technologies, the filing said. It also covers research on enhanced oil recovery methods, subsurface energy storage, and identification of potential geothermal projects, the filing added.The framework also involves startup-focused collaboration through the mc2+ platform under India's Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, according to the filing.
