Wildcat Resources' Upcoming Tabba Tabba Lithium Project Study to Improve Economics, Says Euroz Hartleys
Wildcat Resources' (ASX:WC8) upcoming Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), due in the third quarter, for its Tabb Tabba lithium project in Western Australia, is expected to improve economics compared with the prior study, Euroz Hartleys said in a note on Monday. The company plans to accelerate Stage 2 expansion to 4.5 million tonnes per annum by advancing underground development of the Luke orebody and integrating resources such as Chewy, a deposit within the mining project. The faster Stage 2 expansion has the potential to enhance project payback and cash generation by boosting production earlier in the mine life, while also reducing stripping requirements and upfront capital costs, the investment firm said. The brokerage added that the updated metallurgy is "particularly encouraging" and that there are opportunities to increase the volume of ore supplied to the spodumene processing plant compared with the previous study.Euroz Hartleys maintained a buy rating on Wildcat Resources with a price target of AU$1.21.
