Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) is expected to benefit from lithium tailwinds, helped by the Middle East conflict, according to a Thursday Euroz Hartleys note.The research firm said that the lithium tailwinds are supported by higher oil prices due to the Middle East conflict, increasing electric vehicle and battery energy storage system (BESS) demand.Euroz Hartleys added that Wildcat Resources is its preferred stock over PLS Group (ASX:PLS) or Liontown (ASX:LTR) because of its significant leverage to lithium pricing and straightforward development position, with granted mining leases, 80-kimometer proximity to Port Hedland, a conventional flowsheet, and AU$43.5 million in cash.Euroz Hartkeys maintained a speculative buy rating on Wildcat Resources and raised its price target to AU$1.21 from $0.61.The company's shares rose 5% in recent Friday trade, hitting a two-year high.

Liontown (ASX:LTR) produced 96,367 dry metric tonnes (dmt) of spodumene concentrate and sold 83,912 dmt spodumene concentrate at its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia during the fiscal third quarter ended March, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.The company produced 95,709 dmt of spodumene concentrate and sold 93,940 dmt of spodumene concentrate at Kathleen for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, an earlier filing showed.It generated revenue of AU$197 million during the quarter, up from revenue of AU$104 million during the quarter ended March 31, 2025.The company reported AU$424 million in cash at quarter end along with 26,270 dmt of saleable inventory on hand.

Liontown (ASX:LTR) initiated early works and secured long-lead equipment for the planned expansion of its Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia, ahead of a final investment decision (FID) expected by the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2027, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.The initial program involves acquiring a 5.5-megawatt ball mill, conducting pre-development drilling, expanding mine infrastructure, developing the Northwest Flats orebody underground, and increasing operational capacity to boost production and efficiency, per the filing.The company has committed around AU$12 million over the next 12 months for the ball mill purchase, with fiscal 2026 early works cash expenditure expected at AU$15 million to AU$18 million and pre-FID spending projected to reach up to AU$77 million, the filing added.The company's shares rose around 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
