Benz Mining Says Cyanidation Test Work at Western Australia Project Confirms Free Milling Gold with High Recovery Rates

Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) said cyanidation test work results from the Icon camp at the Glenburgh gold project in Western Australia confirmed that the Icon gold is free milling with high recovery rates and low reagent consumption across all grade profiles tested, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.It achieved around 95.5% gold extraction within 24 hours from composite samples representative of the higher-grade core of the Icon deposit, while mid-grade Icon mineralization reached around 91% gold extraction.Rapid leach kinetics and low cyanide consumption were also confirmed, with Icon gold extraction generally complete within eight hours to 24 hours, while average cyanide consumption ranged from 0.18 kilograms-per-tonne (kg/t) of sodium cyanide to 0.22 kg/t of sodium cyanide.

Benz Mining Confirms Widespread Tungsten Mineralization at Western Australia Mining Lease; Shares Up 3%

Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) said widespread tungsten mineralization was confirmed across the entire 12 kilometers of the Glenburgh mineralized corridor within the mining lease in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.Elevated tungsten concentrations were observed via routine inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analysis, closely associated with gold mineralization across the entire system, per the filing.A high-grade gold intercept of 79 meters at 4.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from 534 meters contained internal tungsten intervals of 26 meters at 0.2% grade of tungsten oxide, the company said.Benz Mining's shares fell nearly 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
