Yancoal Australia (HKG:3668, ASX:YAL) logged second-quarter saleable coal production of 10.8 million tonnes, up 15% from a year prior.
Saleable coal sales grew 43% year over year to 11.6 million tonnes, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing by parent Yankuang Energy (SHA:600188, HKG:1171).
Average realized price increased 13% year over year to AU$160 per tonne in the three months.
For the first half, output and sales increased 5% and 20%, respectively, to 19.8 million tonnes each.
